Turkiston Palace of Arts

The Turkiston Palace of Arts is one of the most significant and prestigious cultural venues in Tashkent, located in the very center of the capital, on Alisher Navoi Avenue. Opened in 1993 in honor of the second anniversary of Uzbekistan's independence, this monumental complex quickly became a symbol of national revival and a center of cultural life. Architecturally, the building is a striking example of Soviet modernism, which impresses with its scale and geometric shapes. At the same time, the interior, including the Winter Hall, is richly decorated with elements of traditional Uzbek art.

The main feature of Turkiston is its dual structure, which allows for large events to be held all year round: the complex includes an indoor Winter Hall with about 900 seats, designed for official ceremonies, conferences and gala concerts, as well as an extensive Summer Amphitheater capable of hosting up to 3,200 spectators. This outdoor area is ideal for hosting large-scale concerts of pop stars and youth festivals during the warmer months. Thus, the Turkiston Palace is constantly used to organize public holidays, international cultural forums, exhibitions and performances by artists from all over the world, confirming its status as the main art center of the republic.
