The name of the waterfall "Paltau" is translated from the Turkic language as "iron mountain". Indeed, from the very beginning of its formation, the waterfall was surrounded by mountains famous for their iron-rich ore. Medieval relics were discovered near it, one of which is a melting furnace.
Before you reach the natural monument, the road will first lead to the Obi-Rahmat cave, where the ancient people of the Paleolithic era were found. The remains of an ancient man, his bones and even his teeth were discovered at this place.
Approaching the waterfall, its noise and freshness are already felt from afar. Staying near it has a therapeutic effect: water dust formed during a fall from a height and under the influence of sunlight has negatively charged ions and is saturated with plant phytoncides, which have a beneficial effect on the respiratory system in the body.
On the road, be sure to bring comfortable shoes, drinking water, sunscreen, a hat and, of course, a bathing suit to plunge into the stream of the invigorating mountain river.
