The Cave of Amir Timur
Tamerlane's cave is located in the Gissar Mountains, in the Kalla-i-Shiron tract (Lion Fortress) and is considered one of the most famous in the territory of the Uzbek Republic. It is interesting for tourists who love outdoor activities and adventures, as well as for speleologists.
There is no doubt that going to Tamerlane's cave is a real adventure. So, to see the most interesting things, you have to go deeper and deeper, and the atmosphere becomes more mysterious and tense as you descend.
If you look at the cave from above, you can see that it resembles a fortress in its outlines. Its stone cavity is divided into two parts. The length of the first is 750 m, the second is 190 m. This popular attraction is located at an altitude of 2,550 m above sea level.
