Urgench Airport

Urgench Airport (Uzbek: Urganch Xalqaro Aeroporti) is the international airport of the city of the same name in western Uzbekistan, the center of the Khorezm region. Airfield "Urgench" 1st class.

In 2006, the terminal building was built with a capacity of 300 passengers per hour. Daily flights to Tashkent are operated from Urgench Airport. There are also regular flights to Moscow, St. Petersburg (Pulkovo-1 airport), Mineralnye Vody, charter flights to other cities of the near and far abroad at the request of travel companies. In September 2008, a test flight was made from Paris to Urgench on a Boeing 757 aircraft.
