Sheep fighting
Since ancient times, sheep fighting has been an integral part of the traditions of the peoples of Uzbekistan. No holiday has been complete without this. Sheep fighting is an exciting and even gambling spectacle. The audience is buzzing, whistling, stamping their feet, encouraging the fighters
The animals prepare for battle like a real athlete: special meals, jogging and training. It is also very important to keep the animal clean and follow all hygiene rules.
The sheep are brought to the playground and placed 5 meters in front of each other. The owners give the command and the rams test each other's skulls with a run. After one collision, the sheep move back to accelerate again. Probably, this is at their reflex level, because the owners no longer command them, but only shout something encouraging. The sound of the impact is muffled and loud. The force of the collision must be terrible and concussion is definitely guaranteed for the opponents. But the physiology of sheep is such that the blows are damped without harm to health. After all, wild sheep in nature are fighting with their horns for the right to procreate with the best female. After several clashes, one of the fighters loses his nerve and, instead of a new run, he walks away, admitting defeat. A bright red carpet is immediately placed on the victorious ram's back, and he leaves the arena to the applause of the crowd and with the owner beaming with pride.
