Scientific and Practical Museum-Laboratory of Samara State University
The museum-laboratory was opened in 2012 on the initiative of teachers and researchers of the Samara State University in order to systematize and preserve the scientific heritage of the university, as well as popularize the achievements of Uzbek science.
Samarkand State University is one of the oldest higher education institutions in Central Asia, founded in 1927. Therefore, the museum has become not only a repository of exhibits, but also a chronicle of almost a century of the university's history and the development of science in the region.
Professors, graduate students, and university students took part in the creation of the museum. They collected archival documents, instruments, vintage photographs, laboratory instruments, and materials reflecting the evolution of scientific fields at SamSU.
