Victory Park
Victory Park (Uzbek: G'alaba bog'i) is one of the main memorial parks in Tashkent, which was opened in May 2020 in honor of the 75th anniversary of the Victory over Fascism. The park has become an important symbol of the memory of the heroic contribution of the Uzbek people to victory in World War II.
Main Features:
Memorial area: The central element of the park is a memorial complex, which includes a monument to soldiers who fell on the fronts of the Second World War, and a memorial area with the names of the heroes. There is also an Eternal Flame here, symbolizing the eternal memory of the dead.
Alley of Heroes: The park has an alley dedicated to the war heroes, which features stories and photographs of combat participants, veterans and home front workers.
Victory Museum: There is a museum in the park, which contains unique exhibits, documents, photographs and personal belongings of soldiers, telling about the events of the Second World War and the role of Uzbekistan in the victory.

Cultural events: Commemorative events, concerts and meetings of veterans are often held in the park, especially on Victory Day — May 9th.
