The crypt for Amir Temur

At the back of the Dorus-Saodat complex is the crypt of Amir Temur, which was discovered in 1943 when a child playing football in this place fell through the ground. The decoration of the room is quite simple, with the exception of quotations from the Koran carved on the walls and arches, which read: "The dominion belongs to Allah. Only Allah is eternal", "Good is in the hands of Allah, and he is mighty in all things."

In the center of the room stands a marble sarcophagus, covered with a huge monolithic slab of marble 11 centimeters thick with five iron rings in the corners and in the middle. Encrypted inscriptions were found on the slab, which relate to the life of Amir Temur, so it is believed that the crypt was intended for him.
