Magic Safari
Magic Safari is located in Yangikhaet district, in Sergeli, on the territory of the former abandoned Green Park — now it is a well-groomed green corner on the city map. You can get there by taxi, bus or metro — the journey will take from 20 to 40 minutes.
On a picturesque area of about 20 hectares with a lake, there are more than 10 themed areas, each with its own history. The journey starts from the road: guests can choose a walking route or take a special safari bus that passes right among the wild animals. This is a rare opportunity to observe them in conditions close to nature, with respect for their space.
Safari buses are driven not just by drivers, but by guides who talk about the animals and the park's features. There are air conditioners and comfortable seats inside, which makes walking comfortable.
Throughout the territory, you can not only watch the animals, but also enjoy nature — the central lake, greenery and tall trees that were preserved during the reconstruction.
The purpose of the park is to collect rare species of animals that are found nowhere else in Central Asia and attract visitors from other countries. Among the inhabitants are African lions, Australian kangaroos, oryx, alpacas, spotted deer, Bactrian camels, exotic parrots, peacocks, meerkats and many others. Some animals can be observed very closely, and some can be fed (on a special diet and for a fee).
New arrivals are expected in the near future: giraffes, zebras, ibises, flamingos and other exotic animals and birds.
The animals are cared for by professional keepers, specialists from the countries from which the animals were brought. They are assisted by assistants who undergo training and provide care and comfort to the park's inhabitants.
A petting mini zoo Zoo-Zoo has been created for children. There are friendly meerkats, rabbits, ponies, goats, ducks, squirrels and other animals that can be petted and fed.
Lemur Island, a real corner of Madagascar in Tashkent, has become particularly popular. Lemurs move freely around their territory, and guests can observe their playful behavior. You can approach them in a group of up to 8 people and feed them.
Bird lovers will love the Bird Aviary area, where colorful parrots, peacocks and other birds from all over the world live in spacious aviaries.
The aviaries are spacious and decorated with elements of an environment close to nature. Each has an information board in Uzbek, and a QR code is placed next to it, where you can click and read information about animals in Russian and English.
There are also points with special food boxes for animals next to the feeding areas.
There are not many stalls and toys on the territory, only one local cafe with hot dogs, pizza, waffles and drinks — this helps to keep the animals clean and safe. Meals are prepared here in our own kitchen, as soon as they are ready, the kitchen opens and you receive your order within a couple of minutes.
The park is decorated with themed decorations and realistic installations, enhancing such a rich program, the entertainment does not end. Daily in 12:00, 17:00, 19:00 and at 21:00 (schedule changes are possible), the Lion King show is taking place — a vivid performance with original costumes and acting.
The show lasts only 3 minutes, but it takes place in one breath and leaves vivid impressions.they have an immersive effect. The space is designed so that you can spend a lot of time here in comfort: good lighting and illumination at night, comfortable toilets and rooms for mother and child, equipped with everything you need. And in the evening, Magic Safari is transformed: lights and art installations are lit in the LoonyLand area - the atmosphere becomes fabulous, ideal for romantic walks and magical photos.
The main request of the Magic Safari team is respect for animals, because animals are living and sensitive creatures. Some of them may initially keep their distance, but over time, as they get used to the people and the environment, most of them will definitely begin to approach the feeding areas.
