The road to New Tashkent: New bus route No. 197 launched in the capital

On October 12, 2025, a new bus route No. 197 began operating in Tashkent, which is designed to significantly improve transport logistics between the central part of the city and the actively developing New Tashkent district. This was reported in the Department of transport of the capital.

Key route details:

• final destinations — "Hotel Uzbekistan" — "New Tashkent";
• The route will run through major transport arteries, including Makhtumkuli and Yangi Uzbekiston streets;
• 8 modern medium-capacity Yutong buses (9.5 meters long) have been put on the line, which are characterized by a high level of comfort, low noise and economy, which meets modern standards of passenger transportation;
• The route will serve passengers daily from early morning (05:30) to late evening (22:50).

The new route will become another convenient transport link between the center of Tashkent and the actively developing district of New Tashkent, where a new urban infrastructure is gradually being formed.
