Private medical clinics without a license have been identified in Uzbekistan

Illegal provision of medical services has been revealed, the press service of the Committee for Competition Development and Consumer Protection reports.

It is reported that a special commission of the Committee conducted relevant studies on compliance with consumer protection legislation in private medical organizations. A total of 7,284 organizations were checked, which is approximately 85% of their total number. It is noted that as of January 1 of this year, there were about 8,486 organizations.

As a result of the inspections, the following types of violations were identified:
1. 2,000 organizations did not operate at their actual location.;
2. 235 organizations had no signage;
3. 3,428 organizations had unregistered outdoor advertising facilities;
4. 1,460 organizations did not provide information about services in the official language.;
5. 4,483 organizations did not provide open price lists for services.

It was also possible to establish that some organizations carried out their activities without an appropriate license.:
1. AFX DARDGA SHIFO Clinic in the Samarkand region;
2. Clinics "NIGORA PLUS CHAROS MED" and "SHEROBOD SHIFO MASKANI" in Surkhandarya region;
3. Clinics "QIZILTOG DENTAL", "MUROD YORQIN NAJOT", "SHIRCHIQ ZINNURA STOM", "TURSUNOY FAXR STOM" and "BULOQBOSHI HEALTHCARE CLINIC" in Tashkent region;
4. Clinics "ZAYLOBIDDIN SHIFO NUR" and "U-SHIFO CENTER" in the Ferghana region.

In the cases identified, the information collected has been transferred to the competent organizations for taking measures in accordance with the established procedure.
