Andijan is looking for workarounds to strengthen the squad before the AFC Champions League
The Andijan Football Club is actively trying to recruit two players specifically to participate in the Asian Football Confederation Champions League (AFC Champions League). This is stated in the channel of the international journalist Alexander Troitsky "Asia-Sport".
According to Alisher Nikimbayev, the rules of the tournament allow this to be done until October 31. However, despite having an international window, the club has faced obstacles on the domestic front, which looks more than paradoxical.
Considering that Andijan's successful performance in the AFC Champions League directly affects Uzbekistan's national ranking, it would be logical to expect maximum assistance to the team. The stronger the club is in the continental tournaments, the more rating points the country gets, which further ensures the best quotas for other Uzbek teams.
The strangeness of the situation is compounded by precedent. Earlier it was reported that another Uzbek club, AGMK, managed to register player Bakhtiyor Kasimov outside the standard transfer window without visible consequences.
It is assumed that one of the potential newcomers may be the Kyrgyz national team player Kimi Merk, who is currently not bound by a club contract.
