Mausoleum of Sheikh Khoja Hisraw

The mausoleum of Sheikh Khoja Hisraw was supposedly built in the 14th century on the grave of the famous scientist, like-minded Bahauddin Naqshband, Khoja Hisraw. Information about his biography is given in the book "Bahauddini balogardon" by Bakir Muhammad ibn Ali. Having arrived to live in Karman, Sheikh Khoja Hisraw remained a supporter of the Naqshbandi doctrine until the end of his life, for which he earned the respect of local residents, who over time perpetuated his memory.

In 2008, the mausoleum was restored, and craftsmen from different regions of Uzbekistan worked for six months. Now it is presented in the form of a house with a portal, painted in a delicate beige paint. On the tympanum and in the arches on the sides, floral and floral patterns are arranged inside geometric shapes. The top of the portal is decorated with an inscription in Arabic script. Behind the portal is a room — a cylinder topped with a blue dome. Inside the tomb there is a tombstone made of marble stone cut into geometric shapes. The dome of the tomb is supported by a cornice of stalactites with pointed arches in the sails. There is no decorative ornament inside the building, in the center on the elevation there is a symbolic marble tombstone with inscriptions in Arabic script. The mausoleum is bordered on one side by a deep canal, and on the other by private houses. The territory of the mausoleum is surrounded by a beautiful metal fence.

In the 20th century, the mausoleum of Khoja Khisraw was destroyed. However, his tombstone has been preserved, over which the mausoleum was restored using modern materials and modern engineering technologies.
