The Ferghana Valley has been a rich region since ancient times. There have been strong states on the territory of Ferghana in various periods, which have left behind a huge legacy. These are monuments of architecture, applied art, various finds of the most ancient period, sculptures and works of art. Today, these monuments are carefully studied by scientists and preserved in various museums in Uzbekistan.

One of these museums is the Andijan Museum of Local Lore. All the exhibits collected in the museum's collection were found on the territory of the Ferghana region or relate to the history of this territory.

In the Museum of Local lore, the entire collection is divided into many areas: ethnography, fine arts, applied crafts, archeology and much more. The museum has a huge collection of exhibits telling about the life of the population of the Ferghana region in the ancient, ancient, and medieval periods of the region's history.

The museum's collection includes more than 66 thousand exhibits. Among them are not only archaeological finds, but also the works of modern masters of the Ferghana region: artists and artisans who, following the traditions of their predecessors, revive the ancient crafts of the great masters of the Ferghana region.

The museum's exposition is constantly being updated. The museum hosts various exhibitions both in Ferghana and throughout Uzbekistan. Also, every year, the Andijan Museum of Local Lore, along with other museums in Uzbekistan, presents its best modern works at an exhibition in the fine art galleries of Uzbekistan.
