UZCARD Company, in cooperation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, is implementing an initiative to increase the level of digital and financial security of the population. As part of the project, UZCARD acquired the rights to show the television series of Kazakhstani cinematographers "Scammers", a vivid example of a combination of high—quality film products and an important social agenda.

Scammers is a crime series based on real—life telephone and digital fraud schemes. The plot focuses on the activities of a criminal group using modern methods of manipulation, number substitution and psychological influence on victims. Each episode of the series is a story that can not only capture the attention, but also warn the viewer against possible threats.

The series was recognized by the audience and the professional community: in 2024, it was awarded the Tumar award in the nomination "Best TV Series of the Year".

"The formation of a cybersecurity culture is not only about technology, but also about the consciousness of society. Today, when digital threats are becoming part of everyday life, it is important to speak to people in a language they understand. We consider the series “Scammers” as part of our long-term strategy to increase digital awareness, as we want to convey the key principles of safe behavior through life stories and emotional engagement. Such projects help not only to inform, but to change attitudes towards digital hygiene issues across the country," said UCMG (Uzcard Management Group), Deputy Director General for Information Security Nurzhau Bolatbek.

The project demonstrates the commitment of UZCARD and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the formation of a sustainable culture of cybersecurity. In the context of growing digital risks, it is especially important not only to develop innovative services, but also to strengthen the information protection of citizens.

The launch of the TV series is part of a broad educational campaign implemented by UZCARD in various formats: from media and social networks to offline events and educational programs.
