Arrival in the country

When planning a trip to Uzbekistan, keep in mind the time difference (UTC+5) for convenience. Observe customs rules at the border: declare currency and valuables, and avoid importing prohibited goods. At passport control, prepare a passport, a visa (if required) and a migration card for quick passage.

Customs regulations

You can import any amount, there are no restrictions. If the amount of imported funds is less than 6000 USD or the equivalent in another currency, and there are no specially declared goods, then you can use the "green corridor", a customs declaration is not needed.

If the imported amount exceeds USD 6,000, it is necessary to fill out a customs declaration and save it until the end of the trip.

It is allowed to import alcoholic beverages in the amount of 2 liters, tobacco products in the amount of 10 packs, jewelry in the amount of 5 products, but not more than 30 g, up to 10 different medicines and not more than 5 packages of each of them per person. For prescription drugs, be sure to have a prescription with you.

It is prohibited to import into the Republic of Uzbekistan printed publications, manuscripts, cliches, drawings, photographs, photographic film, negatives, film, video and audio products, recordings, sound materials aimed at undermining the state and social order, violating territorial integrity, political independence and state sovereignty, propagandizing war, terrorism, violence, national exclusivity and religious hatred, racism and its varieties (anti-Semitism, fascism), as well as pornographic content.

Uzbekistan has a ban on the import and use of drones.

Children under the age of 16 are exempt from filling out the entry customs declaration at the airport.

Passport control

To enter Uzbekistan, you only need a passport. The child needs his own passport to enter.

Within 3 working days from the moment of entry into Uzbekistan, it is necessary to issue a temporary registration (it is automatically processed by the staff at the hotel). Starting from June 4, 2022, Russian citizens can stay in Uzbekistan for up to 15 days without registration.

When checking out of the hotel, do not forget to check if you have been given a check-in form with the seal of the hotel. Registration must be kept until departure – passport control staff can check its availability upon departure from the country.

Children under the age of 16 are exempt from temporary registration on the territory of Uzbekistan.
